- We believe in the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three separate persons, but of one unified substance.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, died on Calvary for our sins, and rose again on the third day so we could have everlasting life.
- We believe that the Word of God is inspired of God and without error in the original manuscript.
- We believe that the only way to God, the Father is through Jesus Christ, His Son and that the believer is eternally secure in that relationship.
- We believe that those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are born-again into the Body of Christ – The Church.
- We believe that man is justified by faith alone.
- We believe in the New Testament teachings of Liberty and Grace.
- We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the “Great Commission” in which Jesus instructed His Church to share the ‘Glad Tidings’ to the world.
- We believe in the historical and biblical Christian tradition of family and marriage.
- We believe that the Church should help each person seek to achieve wholeness in the spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, relational, sexual, financial, and directional areas of their lives.
The 8 Areas of Wholeness
We believe that each person has eight primary areas in their lives that require constant attention. The Bible provides principles and guidelines on how to strengthen each of these areas. It is important that we do not neglect any one of these areas since each area is affected by the others. These areas are:
- Spiritual
- Physical
- Emotional
- Intellectual
- Relational
- Sexual
- Financial
- Directional
Four Keys to Experiencing Wholeness
- To experience wholeness, we must practice Biblical balance.
- All 8 areas must be in balance to experience a long-term sense of well-being.
- Any one area out of balance will disproportionately affect other areas – either positively or negatively.
- The Biblical rule is that all areas should be kept in balance by practicing moderation. This means that we must not engage in excessive indulgences or in unwarranted abstinences.
The 3 Laws of Life
1. YOU GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR!!!
Your words have great power. You become what you speak. Never forget the power that your words, both negative and positive, have on your future. In life, what you speak, you will get. The Bible declares that language is very powerful. In Genesis 11:6, it declares that whatever you purpose to do, you will. In other words, you get what you ask for. So be very careful with your declarations. They set many physical and spiritual things in motion.
Genesis 11:6
And Jehovah said, Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language. And this is what they begin to do. And now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do. – King James Version
2. YOU GET WHAT YOU SETTLE FOR!!!
In the struggle of life, you only get what you settle for. Most people settle for the first thing life offers them. They fail to understand that they have the power to refuse to settle for the minimum. Listen to this!!! You don’t have to accept what life throws at you. You have the power to decide that you will only accept those things that fulfill your vision for your life. Successful people refuse to settle for just anything that comes their way. They are determined to have the best that life offers. You must be willing to refuse those things that life throws at you that do not match up with those things you are declaring for your life.
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall abundantly supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Darby’s Bible
3. YOU BECOME EXACTLY WHAT YOU BELIEVE!!!
What you believe is a very powerful seed in determining the direction of your soul. It affects your every thought, action, and deed and, therefore, creates the reality that determines who you become. Your belief system determines even your righteousness before God. If believing is so powerful that it determines your relationship with God, think how powerful it is in every other area of your life.
Romans 4:3
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
